11 SETTEMBRE 2001 – SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

Un’ora qualunque
svariati giorni fa,
forse mesi o anni,
potrebbe essere
l’attimo appena trascorso,
o adesso,
mentre scrivo queste parole.
Il tempo non esiste più,
gli orologi si sono liquefatti
come nei dipinti
di Salvador Dalì,
lui lo sapeva.
Allora la persistenza
della memoria
ha preso il sopravvento,
si è espansa,
enormemente,
da non vederne più i confini.
Dissolto ogni punto
di riferimento,
rimane l’ultimo ricordo
a tenere insieme
la mia massa,
rallentarne appena
la velocità,
quel tanto
da non farle toccare
il limite della luce,
impedire l’infinito
e combaciare con il tutto.
Quindi posso afferrare
quel momento.
Eh, sì! Perché ciò che cerco
è del mondo di prima.
Ora vago in uno spazio
sospeso sull’abisso,
dove l’intero è diverso,
cerco la discontinuità
da cui ha avuto inizio
l’incubo,
per me,
tutti noi:
la mattina de
l’11 settembre 2001.

SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 – 11 SETTEMBRE 2001

every hour
several days ago,
perhaps months or years,
it could be
the moment has passed,
or now,
as I write these words.
Time does not exist anymore,
watches have liquefied
as in the paintings
Salvador Dali,
he knew it.
Then the persistence
memory
He has taken over,
has expanded,
enormously,
as not to see the boundaries.
Dissolved each point
of reference,
It remains the last memory
to keep together
my ground,
just slow down
the speed,
just enough
not touch them
the limit of the light,
prevent infinite
and tie in with the whole.
So I can grab
that moment.
Oh yeah! Because what I try
It is the world’s first.
Now vague in a space
Suspended over the abyss,
where the whole is different,
I look for discontinuities
from which it started
the nightmare,
for me,
all of us:
the morning of
September 11, 2001.
