Rejection crisis

What accompanies us to the end is not so much old age as a type of rejection crisis – social long before natural, spiritual rather than material – which produces a sense of exclusion from life, hence causing tissues to harden, originating more from the growing perception of exceptionality in being a part of this world than from physical deterioration.
