Sarebbe quello
sopra, a lato e dinanzi,
senza l’intervento
di alcun dio.
I dreamt of you last night,
I was on top of you,
alas it was only the sheet,
intense heat of the groin,
unbearable when
you turned, on your belly,
as if to entice,
then I pressed forcefully,
the way you received me,
serene, it was you, your nape,
shoulders, ardour,
as well as your desire for me,
I thrust, shifted,
I was even motionless inside you,
to prolong time,
to wait for you,
it was three thirty,
you immobile, your hands raised
to the sides of your face, open,
legs only slightly outstretched,
then you drew them in,
I felt your muscles contract
and release under my abdomen,
they vibrated and with my chest
I became one with your back,
we were one and the same voice.
Nothing more.
Were you there when
I had this dream?
I went on just a few instants more,
on the damp warmth all mine,
eternal, then I got up,
I made coffee,
thinking I would eat you,
yes, pussy eaten, eaten
where certain things of yours
are in the midst of something else
strictly yours,
where there is love, our souls,
reality and other, what is left
when the remainder is only the awakening.
Ti ho sognato stanotte,
stavo sopra di te,
invece era il lenzuolo,
intenso calore all’inguine,
violento quando ti sei girata,
prona, come un richiamo,
indicazione del tuo volere,
allora ho spinto forte,
il modo in cui mi accoglievi,
serena, eri tu, tua la nuca,
e le spalle, l’ardore,
pure la voglia di me,
e premevo, muovevo,
stavo anche fermo in te,
per dilatare il tempo,
aspettarti e renderlo eterno,
erano le tre e mezzo,
tu immobile, mani distese
ai lati del viso, rilassata, aperta,
gambe larghe, non di molto,
le univi solo per venirmi incontro,
sentivo i tuoi muscoli contrarsi
e rilasciarsi sotto la mia pancia,
vibravano, e col torace
aderivo la tua schiena,
eravamo una sola carne.
Tutto qui.
Hai percepito il momento
in cui realizzai il sogno?
Da quel maledetto giorno
quanto sei distante da me?
Ho continuato pochi secondi ancora
sul caldo bagnato solo di mio,
eterno, poi mi sono alzato,
ho preparato il caffè
pensando che ti avrei mangiato,
sì, mangiata, mangiata
nei punti in cui certe tue cose
stanno fra qualcos’altro di tuo,
e di mio, dove c’è amore,
le nostre anime, realtà e altrove,
ciò che rimane quando il resto
sarà solo assonnato risveglio.
Quanto vorrei mi fossi accanto,
neppure tanto per la carne,
stanotte cerco tepore,
conforto, speranza,
la mia anima è stanca
distante dalla nostra stanza,
mancano a te, me,
malinconia e solitudine
privi di intima abitudine di noi,
lo sai, lo senti.
Sono debole senza amante,
prima che dileguino
incantàti ancora
delle mie parole,
fatico a ricomporle
in quel sole lontano.
Down there, at the end of the park, just behind the cemetery, your thighs were cold, dense and damp scent of dying flowers filled the nostrils, and in the shelter of the slight fog the last creaking of the gates gave voice to the silence, and in the faded light everything dissolved in your underwear, and kissing you was important.
Là in fondo,
alla fine del parco,
appena dietro il cimitero,
erano fredde le tue cosce,
denso e madido
profumo di fiori morenti
riempiva le narici,
e al riparo della sottile nebbia
l’ultimo cigolio dei cancelli
diede voce al silenzio,
e nella spenta luce
tutto si dissolse
fra le tue mutandine,
e baciarti fu importante.
Ho visto un mare così genovese,
ligure, invernale, denso e alto,
superiore,
come ineffabile ala protesa,
e sulla battigia si faceva mano,
e le bianche dita parlavano
dicevano qualcosa,
Chi gioca in prima base? Chi!”(*)
(*) Celeberrima comedy routine “Who’s on first” di Abbott & Costello (Gianni e Pinotto) rappresentata per la prima volta nel ‘36 al “Katie Smith Radio Hour” ripresa nel film “Rain Man” del 1988 interpretato da Tom Cruise e Dustin Hoffmann.
Never have I happened to dutifully
bend to succour a bee ailing
from its days, work done,
sacrifice of a whole life,
nor have I happpened to stumble
upon the remains of one dead because of old age,
illness, thus, I ask myself
where the cemetery of the worker bees might be,
so I might visit them.
And in observing the coming and going therein
I might try to understand, to speak to the guard,
at least find out where they come from, and why,
in the end thank them for the gift they bestow
upon us,
then go away in silence, cautiously,
careful not to tread
a blade of grass, a grave, a flower…
